This headunit is only suitable for Subaru forester sg cars year 2002-2007. If you have a factory amplifier, that needs to be bypassed. Steering wheel controls may need to set manually.

Apply carplay or android auto will automatically connect when your mobile phone is nearby. The user should never reset the device as it will delete the apple carplay/android auto software. It has a built in navigation system which is powered by satellites which means the user can also use maps while no internet connection is there.
